Hello,
Just a quick 2 cents.
1. When the game first opens and you are selecting your character, I feel uncomfortable with the delete being, well, right there next to the select. Hopefully a failsafe is in place, but would prefer to have to go out of my way to delete, as in press triangle specifically to even get to the option. This is minor.
2. Please stop making me decline to put items on a character each time I select him. I want to get right into the game and I know I have items not associated to a character. Let me go out of my way, (with a different button like triangle), to associate items to a character. At the very most just pop-up a reminder when new items get added. Just get tired of declining to associate the items to a character. I want to save them as I currently only have one character, and he already has the BPO items and doesn't need duplicates. This is actually a bigger deal for me as petty as it sounds.
3. Your waiting screen tutorials. Please write them not as one big block of text, but maybe press Enter between each major point. The best example of this is that you have a list of what each weapon type is most effective against each enemy type. Would look much better as a list than a wall of text. It is a chore to read and harder to digest.
4. Someone mentioned earlier a good suggestion. Please cram the team aspect down our throats. Let people know they have not actually played the game until they corp up and take to PC. Tutorials that explain this and how to use social features should be extremely prevalent.
Thanks for listening. All minor things that should be easy to improve although I am sure you are more focused on more important things right now, give a dev a day to knock it out. It's all about the little things. |

Sweet! Thank you for the update on 1. That is a pretty good failsafe measure, I just didn't want to try it to find out lol.
I agree. The social aspect is exponentially compounded. People will be more social if others are more social, and vice-versa. People are nervous to talk on the mic especially if new, so if they feel they can "blend" in because many others are being social they are more likely to do so. You get 10 people to start talking and it has a snowball affect of getting more people to do the same, and so on.
The social aspects are what will really retain players, and they need to be advertised and forced upon us if need be. 2 and 3 are simply aesthetic changes. |
